Novel is here! Benjamin Ilka started this book almost five years
ago and it is finally seeing the light of day in its completed form.
Some of you might have picked up the book in its individual issues
#1,2, & 3. After much consideration and dealing with the
frustrating world of small press distribution we have decied to finish
the book in the way it was originally intended as a graphic novel.
Issues 1-3 are reprinted but with new fonts, cleaned up art, a new
cover and a new begining! So fans of the first incarnation will be
getting something new also! The book tops out at 280 pages! This book

Benjamin | Hello all, As you might know my second coloring book, Caves, was just published. It is a great educational book about the amazing world of caves. Including all the creatures that inhabit caves and how the ecosystem of caves work. On this Saturday, 4/26/08 from 12 to 3, I'll be at Kartchner Caverns State Park here in Arizona celebrating the parks 20th anniversary. I'll be signing my books so stop on by. More news on that as it comes. Enjoy, Benjamin | Hey gang, well my second coloring book, Caves!, is at the printers and should be available in a few weeks. But before that I'll be signing both the Navajo Code Talkers coloring book and A Boy and His Shadow at the Arizona Historical Societies book fair. The event is scheduled for Friday, December 7th from 6 – 8 p.m. with a reception from 5 – 6 p.m. and Saturday, December 8th from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. The Arizona History Museum is located at 949 East 2nd Street Tucson, AZ 85719. | Hey there, as of today there are some new items available in the store and in the gallery. The Mad Sea Dog crew will be at San Diego Comic Con Wednesday July 25 through Sunday July 29. We will have several incredible new full-color prints of Benjamin's artwork available. We will also be debuting Ben's first published coloring book on the Navajo Code Talkers! Come by Table L1 in the Small Press section and check out Ben's books and artwork. As for now I'm working on another coloring book, this one is about caves and cave ecology. My first coloring book, The Code Talkers (for preview click here) should be out in time for Comic Con. A Boy and His Shadow is still on track to be finished in fall. We are not going to be putting out single issues any more opting for the graphic novel format to finish off the series. Printing costs are just too high and I figure that getting the full book at one time is a better way to go.
